Top 10 Best Coffee Syrups 2021: (Buyer’s Guide)
1. Torani 4x Set
Vanilla and hazelnuts blend well with the strong aromas of dark roast coffees and some of the best vanilla and hazelnut syrups available are in this Torani four-pack. This kit contains all the best Torani coffee syrups when you add the caramel and French vanilla.
Torani has a well-deserved reputation for excellent coffee syrups. The all-natural ingredients used by the company offer those exceptional flavors. There is no guy between them. When you break down the price to cost per ounce, it’s a great value too. The one thing we didn’t like about it is that it’s a major investment upfront. Not on the money side, but on dedication. That is four coffee flavoring tubes.
2. Jordan’s Caramel Pecan
Skinny Syrups Caramel Pecan by Jordan is one of the best sugar-free syrups for lattes and other coffee types. The caramel and pecan flavors go well together and complement a latte’s frothy sweetness as well. The most attractive thing about this syrup is that the sugar sweeteners are a healthy alternative.
Atkins- and Keto-friendly, and even kosher, too. While you will probably not buy a purely price-based syrup at what it costs for the bottle’s size, it’s also a really good value.
3. Monin Vanilla
Vanilla is one of the most versatile of flavors. This combines well with strong dark blends, and in complex chai lattes, too. Monin is one of the best syrup makers and our choice for the best organic alternative is its Organic Vanilla. There are two things that we didn’t think much about.
The first is that you have about a month to use it once it’s open before it’s going bad. Whether you’re an occasional user, it might be money-wasting. The second is you have to use a lot of it to get the right flavor. When you’re just an occasional user, that means you should always use it before something goes wrong. However, if you use it often, you will always run out of it.
4. Upouria French Vanilla & Caramel Coffee Syrup
A two-pack with one bottle of any popular flavor, the combination of Upouria French Vanilla & Caramel Flavored Syrup is perfect for anyone who likes lattes, cappuccinos, or any other drink in that genre. They are vegan and gluten-free and are made from all-natural sweeteners in a health-conscious environment. One thing you’ll really appreciate is that they come to your drink with pumps for every bottle, for easy use. A few pumps and the drink take on a new layer of sophistication of taste.
5. Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Coffee Syrups
Perhaps a little splash of cinnamon is a seasonal product, more tied to colder weather than any of the other syrups we’ve been looking at have year-round appeal. So, it is nice that Starbucks gave a long shelf life to their Cinnamon Dolce Syrup. This way, you won’t feel hurried to use it all up when you’re paying the money for it. It gives everything you put in a good sweet taste. It’s a bit different from other syrups, but we’re not sure if most people will find it to be the genuine cinnamon flavor. We will call her “cinnamon-y.” It is pretty expensive too. You’re paying for the brand name.
6. Amoretti Peppermint Coffee Syrup
A little peppermint splash right around the holidays will make a simple cup of coffee something more festive without wasting a lot of money on overpriced heavy creamers. This is why we like the Premium Peppermint syrup from Amoretti. It is a bottle of cheer for the holiday. We like the flavor, too.

It is a good peppermint and you get what you’re paying for. This is also pretty pricey and most people do not want to put peppermint in their drinks all year round. That means you’ll likely want to find a place to store it or get something with a more year-round appeal if you have stuff competing for counter space.
7. D’arbo Coffee-Syrup (Elderflower)
We consider the D’arbo Elderflower syrup fascinating. We’re not used to flavoring our coffee drinks with anything like that. When you’re genuinely experimenting, this isn’t prohibitively costly. That said, compared with other syrups, this is expensive. To get the best out of something that will take some practice, it might be too much for average users for whom it’ll be a little too exotic. We were also a little confused by its lemon flavor. That may work from the lightest roasts in coffees, but anything more and it will likely result in a cup of coffee thrown down the drain.
8. Autocrat Coffee Syrup
In an era in which people enjoy basic ingredients, Autocrat’s Coffee Syrup is a throwback to a time in which people cared less about. We’re not going to wade through the debates about what’s trendy. We are only going to share what’s in the stuff. It’s made predominantly from high fructose corn syrup, not cane sugar like most of the pricier syrups we’ve seen. We’re not going to debate the two’s merits but we’re going to suggest this one is just too good. Plan to either use just a bit of it, use it to cut a bitter iced coffee, or cut it with rum-like alcohol. The packaging sometimes puts us off, which scares us a little (we don’t know why), too.
9. Torani Classic Hazelnut
Just sugar cane, and no high syrup of fructose corn? Definitely fine. This Torani coffee syrup is perfect if you’re into the hazelnut coffee thing but don’t like all the artificial additives in pre-packaged coffee. Torani is toasty and sweet, recommending this syrup for lattes, mochas, and iced coffees.
10. Ghirardelli Syrup Squeeze Bottle Set
What changed so that Ghirardelli’s caramel, chocolate, and white chocolate Squeeze Bottles rounded out our ratings at the bottom? It wasn’t the color. All three taste pretty good. It hadn’t been the size. While they were a well-known brand name, they came in at fairly inexpensive prices per ounce.
It was the life of the shelf. As in a couple of weeks, once you order these and open them, you have a very limited period to use them up until they expire. That sets you up for a sprint to use as much of this as possible in the shortest possible time, as opposed to the looming deadline by which you need to dump it all in the garbage.
Verdict: What’s the Best Coffee Syrups?
In our ratings, we gave our top pick to Torani’s 4-pack of chocolate, raspberry, French coffee, and hazelnut, because the flavors are perfect. While making a significant commitment at the time of purchase, it is also a flexible collection. Jordan’s Skinny Syrup’s Caramel Pecan is a great option that goes well in lattes but it may taste a little off because it’s sugar-free. Organic Vanilla by Monin was our top choice for organic coffee syrups. It’s also flexible, apart from being organic, but it goes bad pretty soon.
